Another great resource to illustrate why...

we are focusing this discussion on classrooms for a digital age.

Take a few moments to post your responses to the video. As you leave your mark on the blog, take a few minutes to process, then leave your thoughts... Are we really teaching our students for the 21st Century?

Ideate?

Have you seen the newly aired commercial where the supervisor walks into the room full of employees laying out across the floor in quiet meditation?

Supervisor: "What are you doing?"

Reply: "We're ideating!"

How do we support ideating in 21st Century Classrooms? Should the goal of 21st century teaching and learning be to promote "ideation" in our learners?

Interterm 2008 - Reflections of November Chapter 1

Take a moment to reflect on your reading this past week. In Chapter 1, November discussed information literacy, mapping the Internet, and blocking as well as the story of Zack - a student who served as an example throughout the chapter. What new understandings did you gain from any of these topics? What was interesting or created an "Aha" for you?
